Attention all Teachers and Schools

The Walker Learning Approach

It has come to our attention that some other consultants and staff from other organisations are attempting to host or run professional development sessions on the Walker Learning Approach.

Due to copyright laws and intellectual property laws, no person or organization is permitted to use any aspects of the Walker Learning Approach including presentations, book or professional development sessions unless they have been given specific permission directly from Early Life Foundations. Even if the title of the professional development does not use the title Play based curriculum or Walker Learning Approach, unless authorised, no person or organisation can base their professional development sessions upon the Walker Learning model.

This not only protects intellectual property it also ensures that any school wishing to introduce the approach is being provided with the correct information based on years of development.

The organisation has a vested interest in ensuring that the approach is correctly represented, explained and implemented into schools so that learning and teaching is rigorous and works effectively alongside current Curricula frameworks across Australia.

Any school wishing to implement the approach is encouraged to attend the symposiums held regularly in Melbourne and interstate or to have someone from our organisation visit the school to explain the approach and provide ongoing support.
